Bare Naked Bagel - Hillsboro

Food truck Bare Naked Bagel is joining other mobile restaurants like Cousins Maine Lobster and Hoss' Loaded Burgers in opening permanent locations across Nashville.

The New York-style bagel shop opens today at 2123 Belcourt Ave. in Hillsboro Village. Bare Naked Bagel shares a street with the Belcourt Theater, Donut + Dog, Belcourt Taps and other businesses in the trendy neighborhood.

If the name sounds familiar, that's because Bare Naked Bagel joined the food truck scene in 2014. Co-owners Justin Buttner, Ryan Buttner and Robert Kane also own and operate Kona Espresso Bar in the Gulch.

What's on the menu

Along with a "naked bagel" that comes with cream cheese, jam or peanut butter, you can find specialty options with lox, avocado or scrambled eggs and bacon. Unlike the truck, the brick and mortar store will have bagel sandwiches.

The restaurant is open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. Scope out the menu here.
