The Southern V quickly gained a loyal following when it introduced vegan comfort food to the Nashville dining scene. Less than two years later, the restaurant outgrew its little blue shack on Fisk Street and has resumed operations in a larger space at 1200 Buchanan St.
Owners Tiffany and Clifton Hancock put a vegan spin on southern staples like country fried "steak" and gravy made with seitan, barbecue jackfruit sliders, loaded nachos with dairy-free cheese and sour cream, macaroni and “cheeze,” greens and more.
On weekends you can find hearty breakfast options like hot or not chick’n biscuits, cinnamon rolls and chicken and waffles.

Wednesday and Thursday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-5 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-5 p.m.
