Women's clothing retailer Madewell is expanding in the Nashville market — and you won't have to travel far from its first location at The Mall at Green Hills, which opened its doors in 2014.

The company plans to open its 12South property, located in the former Music Corner space at 2705 12th Ave. S, on Tuesday, March 12.

To celebrate the new store, Madewell is hosting a grand opening party March 21. The event will have food, drinks and other specials, according to a listing on its website.

Those who want to make a day out of shopping in 12South now have many options. Similar to Madewell, you can find clothing and accessories at Emerson Grace, Reese Witherspoon's Draper James, Moda Boutique, Imogene + Willie and others.

The J. Crew-owned brand operates more than 100 locations nationwide.
