You know how some ice cream shops let you add various cereal toppings to your frozen treats? Well, Cosmic Creamery, a new dessert shop located at 1120 4th Ave. N., is kicking that concept up a notch with cereal-infused ice cream. The grand opening is slated for Saturday, Oct. 27.
What to know
Cosmic Creamery, the creation of owners Megan and Jimmy Feeman, is the sister brand to NoBaked Cookie Dough, a fast-growing edible cookie dough store with locations in West End and Germantown.
The ice cream shop will share a space with NoBaked's Germantown outpost, which has been open since Sept. 22.
What's on the menu
The ice cream is infused with different types of cereal, candy and fruit. After naming the ingredients of your choosing, a machine will completely mix everything together.
So far we've seen a sneak peek of three cereal infused creations — Cookie Crisp ("The Milky Way"), Lucky Charms and Fruity Pebbles ("The Rocket Man"). You can also add NoBaked Cookie Dough.
