Karl Dean Bill Lee New

Franklin businessman Bill Lee and former Nashville Mayor Karl Dean will face off in November election for Tennessee governor after both candidates secured victories in the Republican and Democratic primaries.

Dean's victory was called early in a party race against state House Minority Leader Craig Fitzhugh. Lee, on the otherhand, ran alongside three other Republican candidates, including businessman Randy Boyd, U.S. Rep. Diane Black and state House Speaker Beth Harwell. All three candidates conceded after 9 p.m. Thursday night.

Here's what is going on at each candidate's watch party:

Dean makes a victory speech at Clementine, a multi-purpose venue in Nashville.

Republican candidate Bill Lee shares a scene from his launch party, held at The Factory in Franklin, Tennessee.

Lee is expected to make victory speech around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night.
