Lipscomb University has launched a $250 million fundraising campaign, the most ambitious in its 128-year history.
The university announced on Thursday it intends to reach its goal by the end of 2021. The campaign, called 'LipscombLeads,' is off to a strong start. Lipscomb has already raised $186 million.
“We have been very fortunate to have already had generous commitments from more than 42,000 investors who have helped us reach nearly 75 percent of our ambitious goal," Randolph Lowry, president of Lipscomb University, said in a news release.
"This is a significant moment in the life of this institution — and one that will make a profound impact on our students for generations to come. It builds on the tremendous forward momentum Lipscomb has built over the last 15 years," Lowry added.
According to the news release, the fundraising campaign has three priorities: "a best in class academic program, a transformative student experience and a model for sustainable impact."
